MORE THAN 70 KILLED ON BOTH SIDES OF CONFLICT IN SYRIA’S BLOODIEST DAY:
ECONOMIC COLLAPSE MORE LIKELY TO GET RID OF ASAAD – BUT WHO FOLLOWS?:
TIMELINE – 15th November 2011 13.10 GMT:
More than 70 people, on both sides of the conflict in Syria were reported killed yesterday, Monday, in one of the country’s bloodiest days.
The majority of the deaths occurred in the area between Kherbet Ghazale and Hirak, not far from the border with Jordan.
Assad’s security forces, who earlier killed a large number of civilians near checkpoints, came under fire themselves from defected soldiers.

Despite The Protests The Killing Goes On
The ensuing battle went on for 4 hours and at least 2 armoured personnel carriers were left burning.  Estimates suggest that between 26 – 34 Syrian soldiers were killed as well as 12 army defectors.
Activists also reported 13 deaths in Homs and other killings by Assad’s forces in Idlib, Hama, Qamishli and Damascus.
Al Jaazeera has a video report on the current situation, including footage at the end of the burning military vehicles, HERE:
