The end of the Russia probe might be near

    1) Trump's latest tweet about declassification suggests one of two alternatives. First, "allies" in Congress think they in fact are gonna hold & that they don't want new issues "jammin' up da brothers" while they keep their seats.

    4) In addition, I think some always have had real issues with revealing potentially significant FISA abuse not JUST in "muh Russia" but prior to this with a host of jihadists. Some worry that dozens if not hundreds of FISA cases could be reopened & put terrorists on the streets

    7) These are not minimal concerns. If you have spies entrenched doing the work of the USA, you don't want to get them killed. It's not a minor thing and no, the people do not have the "right to know" the name of every spy working for us.

    8) So it appears that Trump has agreed to let the IG report on FISA abuse come out first, or in tandem with, these releases. 9) The alternative theory---the "secret sting" theory---is that Sessions, Horowitz, Huber and the rest and working WITH Trump to effect a take down.

    10) There is scant evidence for this, with most of it being a) Trump hasn't fired anyone; b) there IS a grand jury with Huber doing something; and c) slowly FBI creepazoids have been removed from their positions to be vulnerable. 11) But this is as I say, still scant.

12) The other concerning phrase is that revealing this might impact the "Russia probe." To me this says that a) the end of the Russia probe might be near, and Trump doesn't want to do anything to prolong it; and b) he might not want to taint the indictments coming against . .

      12) contd. . . some of the coupsters. This would play both ways: that his allies don't want to in any way risk impeachment charges, or that conversely there is a sting operation. Right now, either could be a rational conclusion.

      13) Regardless, Trump is no fool politically and knows that his agenda has a ways to go, especially the Wall and draining the swamp. He cannot do those alone. He isn't God or Yeebus. He will need Congressional help to do both, DOJ help to do both. So we'll have to wait a while.
