The global hysteria over Trump withdrawing 2000 American ground troops from Syria was very entertaining. It showed yet again that the press is useless.
Three years ago, I predicted the following."Saudi Arabia and the UAE have sent military forces to areas controlled by the Kurdish YPG group in north-east Syria, Turkey’s Yenisafak newspaper reported. The paper said the forces will be stationed with US-led coalition troops and will support its tasks with huge military enforcements as well as heavy and light weapons.”
Here’s what I wrote on December 18, 2015.
"Frequency illusion—also called the Bader-Meinhof phenomenon–is when something you just learned out about suddenly seems to be everywhere. I’m now seeing indisputable evidence that thousands of Arab special-forces units are waging a very successful war in Syria. Six days ago I had no idea. I believe that these rough men began wide-scale operations in early October.”
This is the video that proved that Arab commandos were fighting in Syria.
Jaysh al-Thuwar (JaT) has no patrons. In other words, no nation provides them with weapons or training. But you can see from the video that JaT has its own air power
More importantly, JaT has fuel-air explosives with directed blast effect. This munition exploded in a trench full of jihadists. The cloud of explosive vapor was ejected upward, and then the shock wave was directed downward, like a giant Monty Python foot that stamped out the terrorists.

Note that the voices of the Kurds were censored. They were saying things that would have identified the people who fired the missile, which is a totally unknown weapon. It’s like a small atomic bomb that atomized the tank. I’ve never seen such a powerful missile.
I figured out in late 2015 that the Gulf Cooperation Council had sent thousands of commandos to Syria. They either attached themselves to secular rebel groups or fought as secular rebels. Now—after three years—these men and women are coming out into the open. BUT THEY’VE BEEN IN SYRIA SINCE 2015 AT THE LATEST.
The American presence in Syria served multiple functions. Trump is withdrawing our troops so that Syria does not become the post-Saddam Iraq. This was the plan all along. Trump has known the Saudi royal family for almost forty years. Therefore he and King Salman and Mohammed bin Salman crafted a strategy that avoided all the pitfalls of previous American intervention in the region. The US will serve as arbitrator if asked, but we will no longer engage in nation building. America first, as Trump promised.
I’ve been studying the Syrian Civil War since it began in 2011. My guess is that the Gulf Cooperation Council took several years to convince the Kurds and Syrian Arab Coalition to accept help. In the Middle East, help usually comes with strings attached. For example, Iran offers help at the cost of enslavement.
The fact that the Gulf Cooperation Council concealed its help for so many years proves that enslavement is not the goal. Freedom is the goal. The US freed Iraq in three weeks. An Iraqi writer said, “The Americans let us out of our cages, but we didn’t know how to fly.”
In order to prevent endless war, the freeing of Syria had to be done slowly and carefully. This is one of the most traumatized regions on earth. There have always been boots on necks. If they weren’t foreign boots, they were regional boots. It’s time for the Middle East to be free, but they have to do it their own way. It’s not an insult to say that our cultures are so different that westerners can’t be directly involved. Westerners simply have too much historical baggage, and we are permanent outsiders.
The other half of this story is that the same Arab commandos who defeated the Islamic State also defeated all jihadist groups in Syria by taking them over. Jaysh al-Thuwar fought jihadists almost exclusively. It was a brilliant strategy. The jihadist groups were “hollowed out” and replaced with commandos man by man until only the name remained. Even al-Qaeda in Syria is a mirage.
Bashar al-Assad used brute force. The Gulf Cooperation Council used high-tech weaponry, secret diplomacy, and empathy. And as always, Donald Trump was the flak catcher. He offered himself up as a distraction for the idiots of our world. I’ll leave you with a video of the kind of men who fought secretly in Syria. They are Arabs, Africans, Asians, and Central Asians. Pretty much by themselves, they won the war.
