Russian's banned Gaddafi

Gaddafi is doomed - Federation Council
MOSCOW. March 14 (Interfax) - The offensive of Libyan forces loyal to Muammar Gaddafi will hardly change his future, Chairman of the Federation Council International Affairs Committee Mikhail Margelov told Interfax on Monday. "The international reaction to the Gaddafi treatment of the insurgents makes this dictator a persona non-grata, and even the offensive of Libyan forces loyal to Gaddafi will hardly change his destiny," he said. Russia has taken the side of international forces, which support the opposition in the civil war in Libya, he said.
Russian President Dmitry Medvedev banned the Libyan dictator, his family and associates from entering the Russian territory or passing it in transit, Margelov said. "There is a ban on their financial operations in Russia, too," he said. UN Security Council resolution 1970 of February 26, 2011, enacted sanctions on the Libyan regime, and Russia banned the delivery of any types of armaments to Libya. "The steps taken by the Russian administration put an end to the disputes of what Muammar Gaddafi is for Russia," he said. te dp
