The situation at Bani Walid remains as yet unresolved.
Yesterday, Wednesday, a group of 5 leading citizens, but not tribal elders, met NTC negotiators at a mosque on the outskirts of the town for discussions.
They even listened to words from Mahmoud Jabril, the head of the NTC via a telephone link, and progress seemed to have been made. Al Jazeera has a video report HERE:
