Nicki Minaj Backs Mitt Romneyhttp://t.co/DGF2dhdAFor Nicki Minaj, this election is all about the economy. The rapper dove into politics during her guest appearance on Lil Wayne's latest mix tape, "Dedication 4," which was released Monday.
"I'm a Republican voting for Mitt Romney/You lazy b*****s is f*****g up the economy," Minaj says in the song.
Minaj, who was born in Trinidad and Tobago, has been vocal about American politics. Her publicist did not respond to ABC's requests for comment on whether Minaj's line in the rap song is actually intended to be an endorsement of Romney. Earlier this year Minaj tweeted her opposition to the president's health care law.
"Even with Obama Care, too much involved," Minaj tweeted." Just give FREE health care to all. @BarackObama what can we do?"
Lil Wayne may not agree with his guest rapper. "You learn from what the right wing is doing and you take something from it," he told Vibe last year. "You have to make the most of who you are because the Republicans are never going to like us."
