#Romney 49% #Obama 47% Dem+3 Poll over 3 days including yesterday, Obama leads by 4% among women

The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Thursday shows Mitt Romney attracting support from 49% of voters nationwide, while President Obama earns the vote from 47%. Two percent (2%) prefer some other candidate, and another two percent (2%) are undecided. See daily tracking history.
Obama is getting 85% of the vote from Democrats, while Romney is supported by 87% of Republicans. Among voters not affiliated with either major party, the GOP challenger has a nine-point advantage.
The president leads by four among women, while Romney is up by 10 among men.

These updates are based upon nightly polling and reported on a three-day rolling average basis. As a result, roughly two-thirds of the interviews for today’s update were completed before Tuesday night’s presidential debate. Saturday morning will be the first update based entirely upon interviews conducted after the second debate. Incumbent Republican Dean Heller has opened a seven-point lead over Democratic Congresswoman Shelley Berkley in Nevada’s U.S. Senate race. These results move Nevada from Toss-Up to Leans Republican in the Rasmussen Reports Senate Balance of Power rankings. Currently, Rasmussen Reports that the Democrats will end up with 48 Senate seats, the Republicans 47, with five remaining Toss-Ups—MassachusettsMontana,  Ohio,  Virginia,  and Wisconsin.

Thirty-seven percent (37%) believe the country is generally heading in the right direction.
