ATLANTA GEORGIA - JOB OPPORTUNITY - Senior Network Engineer, Definition 6 - Atlanta. This position will provide on-going support for Microsoft Windows IIS and SQL Server based web applications. It requires a breadth of knowledge from general Internet technologies (HTML, XML, web services, SMTP) to high-availability and high-scalability equipment (load balancers, failover clusters) with particular focus on supporting services (Windows server, IIS, SQL server, etc.) This position also provides ongoing support for multiple production web sites and will participate in a 7x24 rotating on-call team.
Desired Skills and Experience - MCSE / MCSA certification (Windows Server 2008+) or equivalent work experience 5 years of experience as a System Administrator/Engineer implementing and supporting Windows technologies and environments 2 year experience as a System Administrator Engineer implementing and supporting Windows 2008/2003 in a datacenter IIS –knowledge, ability to troubleshoot complex problems SQL Server administrative functions (backups, database moves, performance troubleshooting) Networking, IP protocols, and routing Internet and Web technologies
