Story on Turkey cutting ties with Libya is withdrawn
The Istanbul story headlined "Turkey cuts diplomatic ties with Gaddafi's Libya" is wrong and is withdrawn.Turkey's Official Gazette stated only that Turkey's ambassador to Tripoli had been given a new appointment in Ankara. There was no mention of any break in diplomatic relations. The envoy had in fact been withdrawn from Tripoli two months ago for security reasons. There will be no substitute story. STORY_NUMBER:
