The Libya Hurra radio station in Misurata announced half an hour ago that the Libyan rebels in Tripoli have taken control of Tripoli International Airport and a large group of them were moving on to take control of the government TV and radio stations in the downtown of Tripoli. The station reported that more than ten thousand rebels from Tripoli and other parts of the country were taking part in the uprising in Tripoli. There are also reports that Abdullah Sanusi, Gaddafi right hand man and close aide, has been hit in a NATO strike this night. There is no independent confirmation of these reports.
