Kufra — The forces of Libya's National Transitional Council have arrested nearly 100 Somali immigrants.
The Somali immigrants, whose number was 96, were apprehended as were trying to cross Sudan's border with Libya.
Abdullahi Mohamed, one of the migrants, told Shabelle Radio by telephone that they are being held by NTC forces in Kufra District, southeastern Cyrenaica in Libya and near to Sudan border.

We are held in a house in Kufra, he added
.He said they are good and sound. But Mohamed spelled out that two of them died while on their way from Sudan to turbulent Libya.

The primary goal of Somali immigrants going to strife town Libya is to reach to Italy to get a better life than they had in Somalia, according to Mohamed.
