Note to Leoner - As a reader of most of what goes on in Libya, I try to read everything, and after reading a story like yours, I try so hard to understand, but I must not be smart enough. I feel like if I asked you a quesiotn like this "Do you think Traffic lights being red, yellow green are the best colors to use? Then you answer well, I think cars are evil and we should all go back to riding horses. ....so yes I understand you facts but what does that have to do with the price of rice in China? I think if I could, and maybe others might feel same, could understand that too, you might get more support throughout the world... otherwise.. shake shead... not sure where you are coming form ... anpn

Surrender to what? Rape, Pillage, Abduction, Murder? Leonor who lived for long time in Libya until recently gives her opinions with 108Morris108

By the way we can confirm that because Libyan Jamahiriya Law of Society due to almost all population being Muslim, is the Holy Qur'an, so alcohol is not legal. Neither are drugs nor pornography. A tiny minority, including at least one of the sons of the leader engage in it, as illegal activities occur in all countries. But we can say with 100% absolute certainty, Mu'ammar Qaddafi has never drunk alcohol and also is not a womanizer. Those of us who know him well and have spend a lot of time with him over the years, can vouch for this with absolute certainty.

The attempts to paint a false picture, at least via some of his sons, will fail as any one with an objective view can easily find out the truth about the accomplishments of the Jamahiriya and also understand from The Green Book as well as the Holy Qur'an that the Law of Society in any Jamahiriya is decided by the people. Since most all Libyans are Muslim, and since the Qur'an protects the rights of non-Muslims too, they adopted Qur'an as Law of Society in the Libyan Jamahiriya. #
