Hanna Gaddafi mystery! Who is she and what happened her? by

 Dead Gaddafi

 Daughter Is

   Alive, Says Doc

The girl thought to be              Hana Gaddafi with Nelson Mandela?

A Tripoli doctor has told Sky News that Colonel Muammar Gaddafi's daughter - thought to have been killed in 1986 US airstrikes - is alive and well.

The Libyan dictator had shown a photo of an infant girl's dead body following the bombing of his compound 25 years ago, claiming it was his recently adopted daughter Hana

Despite years of scepticism over the claim, figures including the leader's son Mutassim Gaddafi had continued to insist the story was true.

But Dr Gassem Baruni said Hana, who is thought to feature in photographs that have emerged including one with Nelson Mandela, had been working as a surgeon at his Tripoli hospital An ex-girlfriend of Mutassim told the Sunday Telegraph that he had suggested the 1988 Lockerbie bombing was instigated by Libya partially in revenge for the death She admitted [she was Hana Gaddafi] and there was security around here. We knew that she was Hana. "She has worked in the surgical department for more than a year," he said. He said Hana was pleasant but had displayed a fierce loyalty to her father"We've seen photos of her with her father. So everybody knows here."  The girl thought to be Hana Gaddafi with Nelson Mandela "As a doctor she's very nice," he said "She's keen to learn, she works hard with the other olleagues "But still she has the mentality of the Gaddafi family. She hates the other side and doesn't like the liberation people He added that she has disappeared since he saw her at work last Thursday. "She thinks that these people are against Libya, they are our enemies and we shouldn't treat them as we should treat our soldiers."

@AnnSh. Until very recently I very much doubt the wider world spent too much time wondering about how many children Gaddaffi had, let alone how many were biological or adopted. I have known a number of Libyans from my working life in the Gulf, they have confirmed that one of his adopted children died in the attack on the compound in 1986 and that Gaddaffi has adopted at least two other children over the years. One I'm told is his nephew and the other is perhaps Dr Hanna. As said in an earlier post, naming another child after a deceased child is common practice in the region.

I always read over the years that he only ever had one daughter called Hana, adopted or not.

I do not remember reading about them adopting another girl and calling Hana after the first one was 'supposedly' killed?

I would have thought it would have come out by now, seeing as most of what the Gaddafi family have done over the last 42 years has come out.

Evidently the regime has not hidden Dr Hana Gaddaffi from the public eye and at the same time has mourned the loss of the first Hana. It may therefore be safe to assume that the first Hana(adopted) died in 1986 to be followed by the second adopted Hana, known now as Dr Hanna Gaddaffi. It really is a farce to turn this simplistic situation into yet another story of intrigue. I don't post very often on Sky bloggs because most of those placing posts are ignorant to the realities of life in our region. Easy to intrigue from afar.

My; one could swear that we were talking about politicians here... Not the most truthful of people since records began.

Heres a theory.....................

It is true she is alive and a surgeon in a hospital.....

Is this the same hospital where all those people were killed???

Could she have anything to do with it?

She would definitey have known if they were Gaddafi soldiers who may well 'talk' to the rebels after they took Tripoli.

Just a theory, not staing facts or truth.

Who cares? Fed up of this Libyan news move on to something more worth while - they will all end up killing one another once the coalition leaves anyway.Another dictator that the UK will bow down to cos they will have helped put him there, again....

Reading many of the comments here one would think the British ,especially their politicians are innocent babes in arms. The last British government told us there was no banking crisis. The same told us Iraq had weapons of mass destruction.Former British governments told us their security forces shot dead armed IRA suspects in Derry in 1972.This coalition government had said that they only intervened in Libtya to save civilians.Evidence suggests that they had been carrying out covert operations in Libya well before the conflict to overthrow Gaddafi. The same people told us we had massives debts & cut backs & redundancies had to be made.Yet we can still give International aid to China & India. We can help support the Saudis to keep their civilians subjugated. We can carry out massive bombing campaigns, backed up with armed attack helicopters & SAS support groups on the ground. Is it not ironic that the same people Cameron,Clegg,Hague & Fox sent to bomb Libya are now being made redundant.

They would have to build something to try and prove it is true wouldn't they.

If they just said she had been killed and then did nothing, would be very unusual. and too obvious.

Anyone can build a shrine, but it doesn't mean that the body of the person they said died is in there.

To be honest I wouldn't be at all surprised if this story is true. Nothing would surprise me where this family is concerned.

None of them can ever get their stories straight.

B ut the theory that his real daughter Hana was the one who was killed, and he adopted an girl and called her Hana after his real daughter?

That doesn't fit either, they never ever said that his Real daughter died, just the adopted one?

But if they are coming out with conflicting stories then maybe her supposed death is a lie
