In this video, a combatant who appears in several videos of Gaddafi’s capture describes what happened. He explains that a Gaddafi loyalist surrendered to his unit as they were fighting in an industrial zone in Sirte. He says this man told them that one of Gaddafi’s sons, as well as other loyalists, were hiding inside this zone. Several of these loyalists were then captured by the combatants. The combatant in the video goes on to explain that these loyalists gave up Gaddafi’s location, and told him the former Libyan leader was wounded. “I immediately went to capture him,” says the combatant. At the end of the video, he shows off two firearms and a satellite telephone, which he says he found on Gaddafi.
