Pakistan has recognized the new government in Libya.
In a weekly news briefing in Islamabad foreign office spokesperson Tehmina Janjua said Pakistan recognizes the state and government of Libya and wants to further improve its ties with the brotherly country. Regarding giving most favored nation status to India the spokesperson said the federal cabinet has given approval to ministry of trade to hold talks for normalizing trade ties with India. She said a protocol was signed in Istanbul between Pakistan, Turkey and Afghanistan for training of Afghan Police and Army. Regarding us and Israeli threats to attack Iran, the spokesperson said Pakistan has clear stand that problems should be resolved peacefully through talks instead of creating tension.
