This photo was inspired by +Mike Spinak's photo of Tioga Pass. I went for an evening sail with my husband to view the rise of the bright and beautiful Supermoon 2012. The view to the shore shared the same shapes, movement, and feel. Thank u Mike for the inspiration.

These beautiful landscapes are all on EARTH


These incredible images of the planet Earth show it at its most striking and dramatic, and are more akin to those normally taken from Neptune, Mars or Pluto.The alien-looking images come from a variety of locations across the globe including the White Desert in Egypt, Monument Valley in the U.S., and the Chocolate Hills of Bohol Island in the Philippines.
