Some pics from the Fort Wayne Comic Con. It's nowhere near as big as the big cons but it was still fun. There were a lot of indie artists and quite a few cosplayers roaming around. +Kristi Fahlsing buddied up to a trooper and collected a bounty on me. Then, it appears she shared it with +Lori Cramer to party with... well, I'm not sure who he was but he had a cool costume. ;-)

Apr 12, 2012 - PublicI just remembered today that there's going to be a comic con this weekend in Toronto (info here: http://bit.ly/HyFef9). I skimmed through the guest list and saw that+Jeri Ryan will be attending on Saturday only, so this is a heads up for any Torontonians who might want to meet her or get her autograph.
I found this cute video by +Valerie Lapomme aka SexyNerdGirl, who gives some nice tips on how to make friends at nerd conventions. Generally, convention attenders are more social and friendly, so it's a good time to make new friends. It may be the euphoria of being at a nerd convention or the confidence boost bestowed upon cosplayers by their superhero costumes which make them more open to being accepting and friendly. Whatever it is, it always makes for a good time to upgrade your social skills.
