If I were Brees, I'd want to get out of Bountytown ASAP.

No, their trying to screw him over with the franchise tag and he's smart enough to fight it.

WWL Radio is reporting that the New Orleans Saints and Drew Brees are close to a long term deal and could be signed by Friday or Monday. The 5-year deal is reportedly going to be worth in the neighborhood of $20 million dollars for the first two years. Do you think this is a good deal? (Your response may appear on the Eyewitness Morning News!)

I think any deal worth 40 mil for the first 2 years is a good deal but if he wants 23 mil; give it to him. He is more than a football player to our city.

I agree. This should have been done long ago without wasting the franchise tag on him. But, w/e.
