We've all experienced it. That friend that tweets a lot. Which is fine on Twitter, but they then share all of this on LinkedIn.  But now Twitter is breaking up with LinkedIn. Here's the cool part -- LinkedIn is better off without them. All hope is not lost. LinkedIn users will still have the option to send their posts to Twitter. It is simply the reverse (sending Twitter updates to LinkedIn) that is on the chopping block.  In ablog article by Ryan Roslansky, head of content for LinkedIn, says, 
"We know many of you value Twitter as an additional way to broadcast professional content beyond your LinkedIn connections. Moving forward, you will still be able to share your updates with your Twitter audience by posting them on LinkedIn."
This change -- though instigated by Twitter -- will improve the overall LinkedIn experience and provide a better quality and professional meeting ground to network and showcase accomplishments.

As of late, excessive tweets were really starting to muddy this experience for many LinkedIn users. (Especially when a connection replies to every new follower on Twitter, translating to 20 updates in LinkedIn, effectively clogging the news stream.) So, in short, those who are upset over this change were probably unknowingly abusing their LinkedIn connections with barrage of tweets that may or may not have made one bit of sense to their connections on LinkedIn.  Cheers to LinkedIn and Twitt
