NBA Rumors – Anthony Randolph to Boston Celtics?

Boston appeared on the brink of disaster when the 2011-12 NBA season ended, but GM Danny Ainge has resigned veteran Kevin Garnett and the team added two good prospects in the draft, but is the team finished finding talent this off-season?
The Celtics have a good starting five now in place, but depth is still needed, especially in the front-court, and the latest rumor from Jacob Lee suggests Boston looks into adding forward/center Anthony Randolph to address that need.
Randolph has now played four years in the league, and when given the minutes, he has produced solid numbers. Last year the former first-round draft pick averaged 7.4 points and 3.6 rebounds in Minnesota, but he now is a free agent, and Boston is a good landing spot for the versatile 6'11" youngster.
Randolph had two years in the NBA where he averaged over 20 minutes of playing time and he responded with over 11 points per game and nearly seven boards. Adding a youngster with such talent would give Boston a chance to rest Garnett and give the team some much-needed depth, and Boston should look into adding Randolph before another team picks him up.
