According to an electoral college forecast model, republican Mitt Romney will be the next President

Presidential winner predicted: Mitt Romney edges out Obama (Video)

The Presidential winner has been predicted. According to an electoral college forecast model, republican Mitt Romney will be the next President of the United States. The forecast model used has not been wrong since 1980, giving some voters confidence and others a reason to encourage neighbors and friends to head to the polls in November. On August 22,Huffington Post reported these results, sparking a nationwide debate.
As previously reported, Ken Bickers from CU-Boulder and Michael Berry from CU-Denver created this "prediction model." With the results showing Romney edging out Obama, there is plenty to talk about and even more to consider. Since Romney is trailing Obama in other polls and statistics, many are wondering what will actually happen in November.
The Presidential winner predicted does not match up with other theories that have been presented in the past couple of months. Obama seemed to have a pretty good lead on Romney, and many believed that Romney's VP choice, Paul Ryan, lengthened that lead. However, it looks like therepublicans have a good shot at taking over the White House once more.
While it's certainly nice to hear results like this (especially if you're a Romney supporter), the Presidential candidates won't let it stir the proverbial pot. Both Obama and Romney will continue their campaigns and keep an eye on the finish line which is just 2 short months away.
Although the Presidential winner has been predicted, it doesn't change much. Anything can happen on election day.
