President Barack Obama called the leaders of Egypt and Libya late Wednesday for conversations that appeared to take on different tones.
In his call with Egyptian President Mohamed Morsi, the White House said, Mr. Obama stressed the need to secure U.S. diplomatic facilities in Egypt as protests continue. The White House said the president called Mr. Morsi "to review the strategic partnership" between the two countries.
