#Obama #Romney intensity of emotions is great on both sides.

It's Over For Obama

Barack knows it. Michelle knows it. Mitt knows it. Ann knows it.

Even Bob Beckel knows it.

Romney will win and he will win quite handily.

How do I know it?

It's definitely not those ridiculous polls and the strange, convoluted interpretations of them that the liberal media offers to the public as "reporting".

And my prediction is not based on electoral college maps, which, incidentally, are shaping up quite nicely for Romney.

Here's why Romney will win: voter enthusiasm. I've been interested in politics all my life and never has there been a race that even comes close to engendering the raw emotions that this one has.

And the intensity of emotions is great on both sides. But the problem for Obama supporters is that their emotions are negative and petulant. Obama supporters remind me of the bully kid in school who gets found out and taken to the woodshed. The anger in the eyes, the disbelief that their reign is over, a couple of last gasp cries of foul before the hickory stick comes down on them to put them in their rightful place.

And that rightful place is outside. Out of power.

Romney supporters however remind me of True Believers in a cause that is do or die in nature. They actually are reaching out and getting people who do not care much about politics registered and voting. I have seen this first hand. For Republicans this type of behavior is very rare in political races.

The tables have totally flipped from four years ago. Last time it was Obama supporters who were idealists fighting for a Great Cause and it was inspiring to see such a thing.

But Obama had his chance and, please don't take this personally Obama supporters, we don't like his leadership. We don't like the direction he has taken this country. We are going to do everything we can to stop it.

Yes, it's over. Take my word for it. And don't worry about an October surprise, some kind of trick, or anything like that. Romney has the votes and the powers-that-be will insist on a fair election and a smooth transition of power.
