The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Tuesday shows Mitt Romney with the support of 49% of voters nationwide, while President Obama has the support of 47% of voters nationwide. One percent (1%) prefers some other candidate, and another two percent (2%) remain undecided. Fifty-one percent (51%) of voters have a favorable opinion of Romney and 48% say the same of Obama. And by a 51% to 45% margin, voters trust Romney more than Obama on the economy.
As for the 2% of 'undecided voters', all I can say is that if they haven't decided who to vote for by now ... they're too uninformed and/or dumb to vote and should just stay home on Nov 6.
Over the past few weeks we have begun to see the ultimate unraveling of support for the president, with women and youth fleeing from his side. But what is even more surprising and perhaps unimaginable to the president and his faithful media cult is that he is now also losing members of his normally deemed "untouchable" base of support -- poor, inner-city black Americans.
