Without a doubt. We need that Monday off and +Derek Pangallo football Saturday does not carry the same weight as football Sunday haha.

+Trevor Smith seriously? A national holiday? #1 On SB Sunday, more women are victims of domestic violence than any other day on the calendar. National statistics. Why should a hangover day become a "national holiday?" People make a decision to get trashed, watch a ridiculous game and then try to figure out how to bullshit their boss in order to stay home and recover from their night of drinking? Oh okay. So then when I get trashed in New Orleans after the NCAAWBB Championship in April and I'm too trashed to go to work the next day, I should demand that it be a "national holiday?" Or when my team wins the World Series or the NBA World Championship and I get trashed celebrating, I should expect that the following day be a "national holiday?"

Let's add the day to the end of the school year or take that day from a real holiday. Let's shut down the banks, mail etc. for what? I'm happiest during football season, I admit it. I love the day my season tickets arrive, but to make a national holiday out of a day when only the fans of the 2 teams are celebrating, is absurd. Go to work.
