#Obama has taken the oath of office and will now deliver his second inaugural address

Obama has taken the oath of office and will now deliver his second inaugural address. Watch live:
18.05 (13.05) The President is now sitting down for a lunch with members of Congress and other senior government figures. Here's the menu, according to Today:
First course:
Steamed Lobster with New England Clam Chowder Sauce
Sautéed Spinach
Sweet Potato Hay
Second course:
Hickory-Grilled Bison with Red Potato Horseradish Cake and Wild Huckleberry Reduction
Butternut Squash Purée
Baby Golden Beets and Green Beans
Strawberry Preserve and Red Cabbage
Third course:
Hudson Valley Apple Pie with Sour Cream Ice Cream, Aged Cheese and Honey Maple Caramel Sauce
Artisan Cheeses
Good luck walking back down Pennsylvania Avenue after that.
17.52 (12.52) Congressman John Lewis one of Martin Luther King's contemporaries, is asked what it was like to watch America's first black president take the oath on the the civil rights hero's bible.
QuoteIt was almost unreal. Almost unbelievable to see President Barack Obam taking the oath on the bible from Martin Luther King Jr. I saw [Dr King] reading that bible on many occasions when he was travelling all over America.

17.39 (12.39) A very different Barack Obama took the stage this morning than the young senator sworn in January 2009. The re-elected president sounded more confident and more passionate but also unafraid to alienate those who disagree with him. He used this speech, knowing that the nation and the world was watching, to lay out a vision for a muscular government that confronts the problems before society and intervenes to try to right its wrongs.
Most were surprised by the emphasis he put on climate change and on gay rights. He has taken a stand on both issues but they've always come second to the focus on repairing the economy. Today he put them at the heart of his address.
It's hard to predict how the speech will be received by the nation. On the national mall, Obama's supporters were thrilled to see their president fired up and talking the language of liberal activism. But will it unite the country? Will it encourage those did not support his re-election?
17.31 (12.31) And the biggest applause goes to, no surprise, Beyoncé. It's a restrained rendition of the national anthem but quite lovely. The hundreds of thousands watching all have their hands on their hearts.Malia Obama is giggling in the background.
