Did You Know:  The NFL gave birth to the Jaguars on November 30, 1993—its 30th franchise. 

Take that all you idiot families with 20 kids on reality TV…the NFL is kicking your you-know-what in football babies.

BIRMINGHAM, Alabama -- The Alabama Department of Transportation has received several reports of icing along roads and bridges north and west of the Birmingham metro area.

The wintry weather is causing travel problems across Cullman, Fayette, Pickens, Tuscaloosa and Walker counties.

In Cullman County, icing has been reported along U.S. 31 in the Vinemont area, along Interstate 65 north of Cullman and along U.S. 278 between Cullman and Double Springs in Winston County.

Ice problems also are being reported across Tuscaloosa County, where ALDOT trucks are en route to begin sanding operations atop bridges along Alabama 13 and Alabama 69.

Several roadways are reported impassable in Pickens County, along the Mississippi border.

Authorities urge drivers to use caution and avoid unnecessary travel as snowy conditions continue through the afternoon
