LEARN SOMETHING NEW EVERY DAY - I try to always learn something new, or question something that has always been assumed as fact about our world history. Looking at this picture it appears that there are water marks (from a flood?) on the Sphinx but not on the Pyramids, but our history books say they were both built about the same period of time, around 2500-3000bc. How can this be?

Well we know the ice age ended approx 9000bc which could cause the flood but that doesn't quite fit. Most religious books refer to a flood around 2000-2500bc but that seems a bit late, and there is no scientific evidence for it. I wonder with all the computer technology we have these days, do you think we will ever get around to lining up all the dates.
