This revolution is the result of new weapons AND the strategic commando.

Now, the commando is him or herself a STRATEGIC asset able to win wars.

(9) In combat, the strategic commando fights alone, in a small unit, attached to conventional forces, or in "combined arms micro teams."

(10) A combine arms micro team would be made up of one tank, one gunship, one infantry squad, one antitank squad, and one sniper squad.

You could one self-propelled artillery piece, one mortar squad, one machine-gun squad, one fixed-wing jet fighter, etc.

(11) The Germans pioneered this idea in World War One, but they lacked the technology to implement it.

(12) Here are the two main points in regard to how micro teams operate:

They use digital maps of the battlefield. Each SOLDIER appears as a dot.

So the micro teams can operate without being given orders, other than the mission.
