Thomas is 100% correct. It's far better to think of the Chinese, Iranian & Russian regimes are organized crime gangs. They won't go to war with the USA, because that means an immediate end to their scam. It's against their interests.

      Iran has plenty of historical incidents where preexisting dynasties or Emperors were overthrown because they were perceived to be too weak. And Iranian political apparatus is lot more robust than China or Russia for that matter.

      Well #2 reason their won't be "WW3" in the military sense is because China won't attack in that manner with the USA. Why charge at the USA like North Korea does, threatening to nuke us all the time. China isn't dumb. They attack silent, they been milking USA for decades.
