I am not sure precisely why this is, I have a good idea that Assad is not a yes man to the United States. Assad is not as but violent and oppressive as the West is being told, and further, if an oppressive government which abused its citizens was a standard, that standard would include about 45% of the countries of the world... yet the US is not interested in changing those regimes...
Think, and stop believing Western News people... especially the big outlets. You should know by now they are virtually all propaganda, or government approved at best.
