I ask, if I may, where are the socialists, social-democrats, progressives and other independent democrats fighting for a secular state (with equality, civil liberties, religious freedom, cultural diversity, as some of its fundamental guarantees) in this conflict between Military Dictatorship and Muslim Fundamentalism ? Is (Are) the Arab People(s) eternally comdemned to choose one of these two evils...

Tele Liban reported that the ship had first sailed from Libya ahead of arriving at Alexandria and that it is owned by Syrian national Mohammed Khafaja. It said shipping agent Ahmed Bernard was arrested. The TV network said the ship sailed from Libya under the guise of carrying engines and oils.
