BUTCH WEAVER UPDATE -- Debbie Sherrell posted to Charley Magruders 3 hours ago via mobile Butch is waking up slowly. He responded to my voice today and finally responded to voice command. Dr. Vega was so pleased with his responses. Still moving along slowly... But it's moving. He moved his feet and arms upon command. When I told him to open his eyes he opened them and actually looked right at me when I asked him too. Made me cry in relief.. excitement and just pure joy that he is coming back from dream land to us. He feels the love and energies you are sending. He is still in icu and still on ventilator. Keep praying and maybe all that will improve as well. Long road ahead still but that is ok.... We will all be there helping him. Thank you thank you thank you to my higher power for this day......

Debbie Sherrellposted toCharley Magruders 6 hours ago Good news from his heart surgeon.... Butch is doing very well.... He is doing even better today than yesterday .... Surgeon is happy with his progress. Slow going though because it is second time for this type of surgery and because it was such a long surgery ..... Very traumatic on his body and organs ....But overall awesome news!!!!! Yay!!!!

BUTCH WEAVER UPDATE 6am Butch is doing amazing y'all ....even the nurse staff in the ICU are amazed with him... Sunshine and I said.. 'were not' u don't know him ... Debbie BUTCH WEAVER UPDATE 11PM Butch is in icu asleep.... Forced sleep of course... He is stable...... Sunshine and I ( debbie) are here and will be all night.... Will let y'all know if anything changes..... He feels the love how could he no ... Debbie

BUTCH WEAVER UPDATE - Debbie Sherrell posted to Charley Magruders 2 hours ago via mobile Butch's heart surgeon just left. He said he is pleased with everything.... But doesn't want to take him off ventilator quite yet. He said it has only been 3 days since the long long surgery...so taking it very slow ... Understandable!

BUTCH WEAVER UPDATE 7pm: Ok y'all one small bump in the road.....they had to put butch back on by- pass,,, one of his valves was bleeding. They have stopped the bleeding and are presently taking him off by-pass again. Will still be 2 more hours of surgery while they close him up. Keep the positive energy flowing.

BUTCH WEAVER UPDATE - 12:00 noon: Here is the most recent information from Debbie on Butch's heart surgery at Emory this morning..... Nurse called again ..... he is strong like bull....working on valve as we speak/type. Vitals are strong! The energy coming in is working y'all! Keep it coming!!!! Y'all rock!!!!!! ... Debbie

BUTCH WEAVER UPDATE 9am -- Butch had a good night. They have lowered some of the drips and he is handling it well. He starts to wake up when he hears my voice ( familiarity) ..... His color is good and vitals r still strong. Y'all he is obviously hearing all of you out there cheering for him ..... Give yourself a pat on the back...he loves you! Still Needs your cheers though. Not everyone on my FB page knows Butch, if you don't please think good thoughts for him, if you do , here is the most recent information from Debbie on his heart surgery at Emory this morning Charley Magruders The nurse just called..... They started 45 minutes ago... He is doing really well.... Vitals are very stable. They are just getting through scar tissue right now and then will move him on to by pass machine to work on valves....keep praying troops.
