His wife is former Sen David Boren's niece, David Boren is President of the Univ of Oklahoma, so that would make Ryan a Sooner rather than a Later fan.

Paul Ryan! Character! Ha Ha Ha! The same guy who used his father's social security death benefits to pay for his college. Yeah, the guy that pulls the ladder up after he's gotten off the lifeboat is a paragon of character! Ha Ha Ha!

Paul Ryan is an inspirational leader.  I look forward to voting for him as Vice President in 2012 and 2016, and as President in 2020 and 2024.  Sixteen years of true American leadership would really bring our nation to a position of prominence and affluence again.

+Paul Ryan 2012 will be a great vice president. Far better than Joe Biden has been, but then again that really isn't saying much now is it!

+Rodney Peterson Poor argument. Not only was that a fatherless high school grad looking to better himself, but 25 years ago, social security was a lot different. How can you use that as a talking point when him and the program were at different phases?

Keep trolling.

So I assume you're denying that Paul Ryan is an unbelievable asshole/douchebag despite massive evidence available to the contrary for anyone that cares to look? Yeah, great retort there.

I look forward to the Republicans retaking office. What Reagan and Bush began Romney and Ryan can finish. In my opinion the Republicans should have been saddled with the mess that Bush left so that they could put paid to America and themselves in the process. I am sure beyond a shadow of a doubt that we would be already gone down the road to hell if they had Won in 2008. I am sure beyond a shadow of a doubt that they won a reprieve from having to face the mess we were in back in 2008, a reprieve that they never should have gotten. It was their mess they should be the ones who had to fix it or be forever tarred by it. As it is they escaped that fate only to come back now acting as though they never had a thing to do with causing it in the first place. I can't wait to see them have to face the disaster that's coming. Mark my words it is. They should pray that they lose in November.

Great, informative, response. No wonder people vote for Obama, they would rather be uninformed and this the government will give them everything.

Mitt Romney made his fortune by strip mining the future of other people.  "And this is where we get to the hypocrisy at the heart of Mitt Romney. Everyone knows that he is fantastically rich, having scored great success, the legend goes, as a "turnaround specialist," a shrewd financial operator who revived moribund companies as a high-priced consultant for a storied Wall Street private equity firm. But what most voters don't know is the way Mitt Romney actually made his fortune: by borrowing vast sums of money that other people were forced to pay back."  -- Matt Taibbi
