   Syria Moves up 8 Places in FIFA Rankings  Jan 19, 2013

   ZURICH, (SANA)- Syria's men football team has moved up 8 places in the latest monthly rankings issued by the Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA) to come in 136th place with 237 points. This is an important step forward for the Syrian team after it benefited from winning West Asia Championship. The top ten teams maintained their places unchanged with Spain coming first followed by Germany, Argentina, Italy, Colombia, England, Portugal, the Netherlands, Russia and Croatia. The Syrian men football team was in the 144th place in the FIFA rankings of last month. H. Said
