He added a three-run home run
off Colton Murray with two outs in the third inning.Juan Francisco had a two-run single off Lopez in the first inning and hit an opposite-field home run off Michael Stutes in the fourth. While hitting three of his five home runs in his past four games, Francisco has strengthened his battle against Chris Johnson to begin the season as Atlanta's starting third baseman.After Lopez surrendered seven hits and six runs in the first inning, Medlen allowed the Phillies to score five runs on seven hits in the second inning. Darin Ruf's RBI double was the only extra-base recorded during the inning. Yuniesky Betancourt, Humberto Quintero and Ben Revere each produced a single that drove in a run.
