Finally able to contact ppl in Zawiya electricity was cut early this morning, allowing snipers to move under cover of dark. 18:56 Several reports on twitter about heavy battles in Az-Zawiyah again. A dust storm has drastically reduced visibility in the area, the news agency’s correspondent says. He adds that Bin Jawad is a small settlement – “two restaurants, shacks and houses”.
