a dear friend of my husband who lives in tajura is in hiding they came for him sunday night. there was very bad fighting there that night he escaped and took his kids with himthe security forces invaded his home and beat everyone therethey saw a young boy outside and grabbed him, thinking he was one of the sons from the house - he was the neighbours conhe was released the following day when they realised their mistake but he is ina terrible state mentally and physically - he is 10 years old! they have taken all the belongings of the man and given them to their pre-gadaffi supportersthey are going door to door in tripoli, breaking in and people are disappearing in their dozens every day the terror of the people in tripoli is palpable in the city no-one goes out, no-one speaks, they only venture out in the mornings until about 5pm then they have to hide, close their shutters and live in fear of the security hammering their doorsall calls are monitoredthey are picking peole up they even suspect of saying anything against themthey arrest first and think about the reason laterif they are looking for a man or youth and can't find him they take his familythe brutality is indescribable
