I'm totally appalled by the incoming footage from Syria. Today I woke up to see Aleppo all over the news, for the worst of reasons. But this is no time for "oh dear"isms: the Arab League should immediately send their men over there under a mandate of the United Nations.
I decided once more to share some mundane pictures of the streets of Syria, because I believe that they are a better way of bringing this issue to the attention of people. Bloody pictures, I believe, have the contrary effect, they make us immediately "shut-off" our sensibility. I quite enjoyed the time I spent in Aleppo, a couple of years back, hope that the feeling transpires.
