May 9, 2012 (edited) - PublicThe picture isn't very sharp because it was taken with an old and cheap compact camera, but the spider is rare and endemic to Corsica. This beautiful female was under a stone in an empty cartridge (yes, people in Corsica do love rifles) and eating a carabid beetle.
Meet Eresus kollari tricolor (family Eresidae, less than 100 species worldwide), that I was really happy to find after 21 days in Corsica !

May 9, 2012 - PublicA beautiful picture of a French Bookstore by +Robert Francis I wish I was there with coffee and baguette in hand.
Robert Francis originally shared this post:
Shakespeare and Company: an English oasis in the heart of Paris
It's also a really cozy book store with tons of warmth and personality regardless of where it's located. In this new more digital world (Kindle, iPads, Amazon.com) places like this are nearing extinction. So if you love places like this, give them your support even if it costs a little more then buying online.
