10:34 AM - PublicThe photo of Tic-tac-toe, also called noughts and crosses game. Shot at ancient sacred Mayan city near Chichen Itza pyramid, Mexico, c.600-900 AD.
As per Wiki, Tic-tac-toe was also played in ancient Egypt, around 3150 BC. How this game got Mayan from Egypt if only Columbus discovered America? :-)

Not to poke a hole in anyone's bubble, but that is not a game of tic-tac-toe. O's made only 3 moves, while X's made 6 and lost. Now if this game had resulted in a draw or the X's and O's were within 1 move of one another, it would be a different story.
I believe this to be a coincidence.
