Glowworm Canyon
About a year ago +Phil Jones and I spent a day with a tour guide at Caveworld in Waitomo. The tour guide went above and beyond the call of duty to help us get this image; taking us both down the canyon (the only way down was to abseil), before climbing back up and abseiling down into position. He waited patiently on the rope whilst we battled with the damp conditions and poor light to take this photo. It's a fantastic abseil and definitely worth doing at night when the canyon fills with the tiny lights of the glowworms.
