Do you agree with Halperin?
Time's Mark Halperin published a piece yesterday with a rather shocking opening sentence.
"With five months until Election Day, Barack Obama faces a grim new reality: Republicans now believe Mitt Romney can win, and Democrats believe Obama can lose."

The problem is that Rand Paul was never libertarian in the first place. He was only supporting his father, not the cause of Liberty. Now that his father's last campaign is coming to an end, Rand Paul has no obligation to support his father any more, and has chosen what is in his own best interests, even though these interests run counter to the cause of liberty.
