+Michael Lamere  in this day and age it is mostly, not all, but mostly educated people that go and vote. please see +john gury 's post above. I hate both of these crap parties because they put us through this kind of ordeal all too frequently.
It was somehow "ok" when the big Democratic machine spent tons of money organizing rallies, bussing people in, raising all of that hell, but when the big GOP machine fought back with money it is now a terrible thing.
Classic hypocrisy and really based on a drive for power instead of an even handed  understanding of the wants and needs of the people. Look at the posts above. not one of them addressing the fact that maybe, just maybe, this is what the people want. Instead it's a bunch of bitching and sniping and "we'll get a senate seat and have more power blah blah".
Both parties should be ashamed that the taxpayers of WI had to pay for this with their time and money.

I am not sure why the US founders were against or had ever even considered a  parliamentary style. To me, our entire system of voting and governance is an anachronism from when communication and transportation were more difficult. We can't even agree on having ID standards and are not even on track behind the nation of India to have a national ID with a secure biometric. As far as anonymity and privacy goes, for someone like me, paying taxes and having worked in different jobs that require basic security, like anybody in the military for god sake, that is sure not an issue and I am sure not worried about the money I won't be able to get for not being able to vote fraudulently, the crimes I won't be able to get away with or the government checks that will get cut off if I get a positive ID.

My question is if a gay marriage ends in divorce who pays who spousal support?
