I agree! Elop could've announced that they were doing Windows Phone in parallel, rather than accelerate the death of Symbian by saying they were killing it. Bad bad decision...

Either he's the worst CEO in history or he did it on purpose. I wouldn't put it past him to try bleeding out the company.

4:20 AM - PublicAt $90/copy of W8 for ARM vs. $0 for Android, Nokia has positioned itself for failure. The market for $700-$1000 smartphones is pretty small. If they try to compete on price, they will have to sacrifice quality. By aligning themselves with Microsoft, they've put themselves in a lose-lose situation.

I didn't even know they needed to pay $90 !!!!!
This is a joke, they should put it free or at max $10 at the beginning, cause for the moment it's a failure.

"Nokia recommend for the best all round experience use the 808 in its default 5mp setting. This will provide enhanced zoom capability, smaller file sizes for faster and easier sharing, greater levels of pixel oversampling and yet we believe based on our tests, still provide greater levels of details than any other smartphone." - Damian Dinning - Nokia

9:32 AM - - PublicIt's sad watching the fall of Nokia. They earned it by bringing in that Microsoft Trojan Horse how forced Windows Phone on the company. It's too bad, I like Nokia hardware, and would have heavily considered a Lumia 900 if it had Android on board, but never with Windows Phone.
Maybe they'll see the light and realize Windows phone is a dead duck.
