6:56 AM - PublicI'm sure the opening and closing ceremonies are the most watched parts of the Olympics which in my mind speaks for itself. But I have a few questions before I enter this wonderland.
1. What do nurses have to do with countryside?
2. What do nurses have to do with land recovering from its industrial legacy?
3. Since when is it a good idea to put over 50 farmyard animals in the middle of a stadium filled with 80,000 people?
4. What does Last Night of the Proms have to do with the countryside or recovering from industrial legacy?
5. What does the countryside have to do with industrial legacy? The countryside the home of a pre-industrial society.
6. What does any of this have to do with the Olympics?

6:50 AM - Public✚ NEW PROJECT
Two more exciting projects to tell you about this week. Firstly, inspired by the visit of the Kenyan Olympic team to the University of the West of England (UWE) in the run up to the London Olympics, the university's SIFE society is raising funds to install a biodigester at the Baraka Children's Home orphanage near Nguu Tatu village in Kenya.
