The largest United Nations conference ever will be held from 20 to 22 June at the Riocentro Convention Centre in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Rio+20, officially called the UN Conference on Sustainable Development, brings together 194 nations to make a series of political agreements to improve standards of living while protecting the environment. A number of side events held by legislators, corporations and NGOs are happening at the same time around similar themes on access for food, water and energy for all.
