USADA brings formal doping charges against Lance Armstrong; could strip 7 Tour de France titles

The +Washington Post reports that the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency brought formal doping charges against former cyclist Lance Armstrong in an action that could cost him his seven Tour de France titles, according to a letter sent to Armstrong and several others Tuesday.

This is just flat out stupid ...  EPO is the only thing they have ever detected in his blood, well considering EPO from what I understand never really clears your body, and he had cancer and EPO is used in cancer treatment.... wow! eureka!

WTF! When are these a'holes going to give it a rest
First, it's a two-year investigation by the U.S. attorney, now more bullshit from a government-sanctioned monopoly on one of the world's most consistent athletes who has passed more drug tests than any athlete in history. Yet the vendetta continues. WHY?

Maybe I'm in a bad mood but I can't begin to describe the level of contempt I have for these parasites. The fact that the government was ever involved and has added its weight to the career-destroying monopoly, USADA, is beyond explainable.

Barry Bonds, Mark McGuire, and Lance Armstrong, all dragged through the bullshit system created by the nanny-state mentality. But this Lance Armstrong crap has sunk to a new low and really pisses me off.

Look, I like Lance Armstrong a lot, I really do. And I hope he beats these new charges. But let's be honest: This dude dominated the most doped-up, tainted sport on the planet without using any performance-enhancing drugs? I just can't believe that. While technically possible, he would have to be the greatest human specimen of all-fucking-time in order to have done that. I just can't really believe he was clean. But in cycling, everyone is doing it, so who the fuck are you gonna hand those trophies to? The non-doping cyclists that finished the race 8 months after it ended?

They'll just nullify the winner, like they did with Bjarne Riis
