#Syria Annan contacted several governments Tuesday and urged the council to postpone Wednesday's scheduled vote
Reply: I worked at the UN for over two decades and there is no way Annan would ask for a delay unless something is imminently about the change the picture/scenario. Something is wrong with the picture currently coming out about Syria, been trying to put my finger on it. It smells wrong, in fact it's a right old pong. My best guess is that there's something of a distraction technique going on here, all the talk of imminent collapse of Regime - don't take it the way it's reported, look at it from "around the corner" so to speak. I'd lay money on some VERY big news coming out of Syria in the next 24/48 hours. News which will change the entire scenario (for the better I might add!) I could be wrong but I really don't think so.
