The athletes with the most medals in the history of the Olympics is the most commented. In sports also include diving, gymnastics and soccer.

Social networks are an important part of the Olympic environment, considering their development. And athletes are more exposed to immediate feedback on their performances. Faced with this, a study found the figures and sports mentioned on twitter and facebook, determining that Michael Phelps and swimming are dominant.
Bluefin Labs concluded that Phelps is the most discussed, with 31.5% of the comments, considering the 38 most searched athletes. This, for the site, is something that causes no great surprise given the success of the great American figure, who just won his medal in Olympic Games number 20.
After the "Shark of Baltimore" will place the English diver Tom Daley, and in third place another American swimmer Ryan Lotche.
While Daley gets 29.1% of the comments, rival Phelps is 16.4%
Differentiating by gender, women are more interested in commenting on Daley's first with 74%, the gymnast Gabby Douglas with 72%, and his colleague Jordyn Wieber with 68%.
While men prefer the same percentage to two athletes: the Jamaican Yohan Blake and American Lolo Jones. Both with 58%.
Further back, another athlete completes the podium: with 57% occurring Tyson Gay.
In sports, despite having the Dream Team, basketball only in the fifth place with a meager 3.6% of the comments. First come swimming (34.3%), diving (17.6%), gymnastics (16.4%) and soccer (4.9%).
